Data Protection Notice
Prepared under Article 10 of Turkish Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data, this notice explains how the personal data you send through the forms on this site is processed.

Data controller
The data controller is Dante Müzik, the Turkish distributor of Medeli musical instruments. Address: Yavuz Sinan Mah. Atatürk Blv. 6431, Fatih / Istanbul, Türkiye. Email: info@dantemuzik.com. Telephone: +90 530 442 82 76. The registered company title will be completed as part of the approval of this notice.
Personal data processed
Only the information you type into a form yourself, plus a technical record of when it was sent. The site has no membership, no accounts and no sign-in for visitors.
- Contact form: your name, email address and message, and optionally your company name, telephone number and the product you asked about.
- Wholesale order form: company name, contact person, email address, telephone number, the products and quantities you requested, and an optional order note.
- Technical record: the date and time of the submission, and an irreversible digest of your IP address. The address itself is not stored — only a SHA-256 digest taken together with a secret key, used for nothing beyond limiting abuse of the forms.
- Not processed: no payment or card details, no national identification number, no location data and no special categories of personal data are collected. The site has no shopping basket and no payment step.
Purposes of processing
Your data is processed for the purposes below and nothing else. It is not added to a marketing list, not used for profiling and not sold to third parties.
- Answering your enquiry and providing price, stock and delivery information.
- Establishing and maintaining a dealer and wholesale supply relationship.
- Limiting automated abuse of the forms and maintaining the security of the system.
- Meeting legal obligations, and establishing and defending rights in the event of a dispute.
Legal bases
Processing does not rest on your explicit consent. Assessing your enquiry or wholesale order is directly related to the conclusion or performance of a contract, under Article 5/2(c); the technical measures against form abuse rest on the controller's legitimate interests, under Article 5/2(f); and meeting legal obligations rests on Article 5/2(ç). In practice this means you are not asked to tick a consent box and cannot be left trying to withdraw a consent you never gave — while the rights set out below apply in every case.
How it is collected
Your personal data is collected electronically and entirely by automated means, only when you complete and submit the contact or wholesale order form on this site. Browsing the site without submitting a form records no name, email address, telephone number or other personal data.
Recipients
Your data is processed by the parties below so that the service can be provided. Some of them are established outside Türkiye; the legal mechanism relied on for transfers abroad under Article 9 will be settled as part of the approval of this notice.
- Hosting provider (Vercel Inc.) — the infrastructure the site runs on.
- Database provider (Neon Inc.) — the database in which submissions are stored.
- Email delivery provider (Resend) — delivery of your submission to Dante Müzik's company email address.
- Dante Müzik's sales team and the company's own customer relationship management system — following up your request.
Retention period
Contact and wholesale order records are kept for 24 months from the date they are created, after which a scheduled job running daily deletes them permanently from the database. The deletion covers the line items belonging to an order as well. The technical records kept to limit form abuse are deleted after 24 hours. Where a request becomes a contract, the statutory retention periods for commercial books and records run in the company's own commercial record system, not in this site's database.
Your rights under Article 11
By applying to the data controller you have the right to:
- Learn whether your personal data is being processed.
- Request information about it if it has been processed.
- Learn the purpose of processing and whether your data is used in accordance with that purpose.
- Know the third parties to whom your data is transferred, in Türkiye or abroad.
- Request correction where your data has been processed incompletely or inaccurately.
- Request erasure or destruction under the conditions in Article 7, and request that this be notified to the third parties to whom the data was transferred.
- Object to a result reached against you through analysis of your data exclusively by automated systems, and claim compensation for damage suffered as a result of unlawful processing.
Making a request
To exercise these rights, send your request to info@dantemuzik.com or in writing to the address above, following the procedure set out in the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller. Your request will be concluded free of charge as soon as possible and within thirty days at the latest; where the action genuinely incurs a cost, the fee in the tariff set by the Personal Data Protection Board may be charged. If your request is refused, you retain the right to lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Board.
